It is used to store all MPEG-2 audio and video data, and it contains not only the video itself, but also menus, buttons, and various subtitles. When you want to add VOB to itunes (including itunes 11), can you play vob in itunes or sync them to Apple devices via itunes? However, when you try to import vob into itunes, itunes will not be able to recognize these VOB files and do not allow you to load them. Why is that? That’s because itunes doesn’t support VOB format (it only supports MP4, MOV and M4V). In order to add the VOB file to itunes, you need to first convert VOB to itunes-supported formats.
